Dr. Massaro is a skilled oral & maxillofacial surgeon working alongside his partner, Dr. Andrew L. Skigen, at First Coast Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. They have three convenient locations in Jacksonville, Lake City, and Amelia Island, Florida. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Massaro graduated from the University of Pittsburgh before moving to Florida in 2007 to pursue his Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University. Upon completion of his master’s degree, he went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2012 where he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honors society. He then matched and promptly enrolled in a 6-year OMFS residency program at the University of Florida -Jacksonville. He earned his medical degree from the University of Florida in 2016 and completed his comprehensive training in all phases and aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery in 2018.

Anthony J. Massaro, DMD, MD, MS, FAAOMS, attended Nova Southeastern University from Fort Lauderdale, FL, and received his Dental Medicine Doctor degree and induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society in 2012. He then joined the University of Florida College of Medicine and received his medical degree in 2016, followed by a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery (2016 – 2018), which he conducted at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. In addition, Dr. Massaro is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and attained fellowship of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a Delegate of the Northeast District Dental Association to the Florida Dental Association and remains a member of the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, and the Northeast District Dental Association. In addition to his medical degree, he holds an undergraduate degree acquired at the University of Pittsburgh (2007) and a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biomedical Science earned at Barry University.
